Bob and Jan Mayo have sold Ace Archery Tackle and are retiring and moving to Tennessee. Ace products will no longer be available until the new owner has the machinery back in production, which will be very soon. Ace products will be available on the new www.acearcherytackle.com website soon. For the time being, if you wish to purchase an item, you may need to use one of the many archery dealers that carry Ace products. We wish to thank everyone for your friendship and support over the years, and ask that you give the same to the new owner, Nathan Trimble, from Iowa.

“The Oldest Name in Broadheads”

99 Years

Welcome to the 2026 Ace Archery Tackle website

In 1927 Ace founder John Schwenk began making and selling a small game broadhead and other archery equipment in St. Paul, Minnesota.  In the 30’s he introduced the Ace Standard Broadhead.  In the 40’s came the Hi-Speed, and in the 50’s, the Hex Blunt, Express, Super Express and the Interlocking Tapered Ferrule.  The 90’s brought improvements like the triple laminated tip on the Ace Standard, and copper brazing.  A total of over 80 different broadhead models have been manufactured by Ace over the years.  Ace passed the million sold mark many years ago.  Many well known bowhunters have taken virtually every type of game animal with Ace Broadheads.
